Jackson’s Journal: Dear Italy

Dear Italy,

You’ve been great to me this past month of my journey. You’ve given me pizza, pasta, gelato, haircuts, CLOTHES, and rich ancient history.

You’ve made me feel like I’m in heaven with your Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Foot Locker, etc. I’m a clothing LOVER and there’s no better way to start this journey than to start out in the most fashionable country in the world.

Your views go on and on and on. They kept getting better and better. Your ocean views are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

Your people are sweet and kind (unless you’re a driver then it’s no holds barred). Your language is so fun to speak (and occasionally mispronounce). Your gelato was so good it even gave me the idea of starting a Gelateria in Oklahoma (coming 2023) named the Bro’s Gelateria where you can’t work there unless you’re with your bro.

With all the positives there are some negatives, too. Your wifi almost killed me with how slow it was. Your air conditioning would turn off at night and we’d almost sweat to death. Also, your smokers need to chill it, man! Gross!

Regardless of the (very few) negatives, you are still the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to in my life. You’ll always be in my heart.

Ciao Bella,

Jackson
